Meet our Alumnae Sisters

Kate Dobbins

Currently an Engineer for Verizon; and pursuing an MBA from NYU!

E-Board Positions Held: Historian, Treasurer, & Vice President of Finance

My favorite part of ESA was exploring new parts of the city with my friends!

Gabby Hunt

Currently in grad school for an M.A. in Criminology at GW!

E-Board Positions Held: Recruitment Chair, Secretary, & Vice President of Finance

I joined ESA to find a community and make some new friends and it was the best decision I ever made! I found some of my closest friends :)

Julia Monaco

I’m currently working full-time in DC with hopes to attend law school in a few years!

E-Board Positions Held: Fundraising Chair & Parliamentarian

One of the best parts of my college experience was finding such a kind group of people who shared a dedication to community service. Not only was doing service with ESA a wonderful way to enjoy living in DC, but I also looked forward to seeing my ESA sisters each week and developing friendships in such a special organization.

Lauren O'Connell

I’m currently working as a government affairs associate for Leidos in Washington, DC. This October, I’ll be getting married to my fiancé Jack in Cincinnati, Ohio!

E-Board Positions Held: Public Relations & President

Other than the awesome service we did together (shout out to Ronald McDonald House), my favorite part was the friends I made! I remain best friends with many of the girls who were in ESA with me. I’m actually going on two trips in the next couple months to see ESA friends in Chicago and New Jersey. My second favorite part of ESA was the big - little reveal! Not only was I super spoiled by my big, but she also tried to trick me into thinking it wasn’t her by handing my gifts to me in the ESA office. This made me all the more surprised and happy when she was revealed as my big!

Piper Smith

I am currently working as a consultant and am in grad school!

E-Board Positions Held: Historian and Omega Class President (RIP! Historian!! Now I think it is more of an Alumna Chair role)

I joined as a way to involve myself more in the GW community but also the wider DC community. I met some of my best friends in the organization and was able to escape the Foggy Bottom bubble. I love my ESA sisters!

Izzy Stanton

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology at GW and working as a paralegal.

E-Board Position Held: Rush Chair

I joined ESA for the Sisterhood <3 and I love community service!
